Decorating the Christmas Tree
[Address]
Merry Christmas, dear [First name],
Oh, what a wonderful day we had at the North Pole! Today we put up our Christmas tree. What a festive occasion that was.
First, the elves and I selected the most perfect tree. We loaded it on to our sleigh and the reindeer helped us get it home. It was very heavy, but the reindeer have been training all year, so they are very, very strong. While we were gone, Mrs Claus got the decorations out. Now, I must say, my dear [Boy/Girl], the elves were so excited to hang all those decorations up. They love decorating the tree with tinsel and baubles.
Have [Relative Name] and you already put up your tree? I am looking forward to seeing how beautiful it is when I visit [HomeTown] on Christmas Eve.
That reminds me, are you still hoping for a [Present]? I was very happy to see that your name is once again on my Nice List. I am also pleased to say that your friend, [Friends Name], is on my Nice List too. Well done to both of you! It makes me so happy to know that you are such good friends. Friends are very important. I am very lucky to have friends all over the world.
I’ve just heard that you [Achievement]. I can’t believe that you are only [Age Range] old and are already doing so very well. Please keep up the good work.
Oh, no, I must dash off now. It seems the elves have been a little naughty. You see, they enjoyed decorating so much that they’ve decided to decorate poor Prancer too. No reindeer wants to look like a Christmas tree, although I do think he looks quite festive indeed.
My dear [Boy/Girl], may you have a very Merry Christmas, and please remember that baubles belong on the Christmas tree, not on reindeer.
