I wanted to write you an extra special letter to let you know what has been happening here at the North Pole. [Relative Name] told me how much you are looking forward to Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year.

Everyone is working really hard to make sure it’s a very Merry Christmas. The elves have been making the most amazing presents in the workshop. Mrs Claus and I were discussing the naughty and nice lists. We are very happy that you, my dear [Boy/Girl], and [Friends Name] are on the nice list again. Well done! Yesterday, the elves put on a very special Christmas ice skating performance. They have been practising ice skating for weeks. I was impressed with all the fantastic tricks they could do. The reindeer even forgot to munch on their carrots because they were so amazed. It truly was a spectacular show. Afterwards, Mrs Claus made hot chocolate for everyone. It really is wonderful to drink hot chocolate when the snow is falling. Is it already snowing in [HomeTown]? Christmas snow is the best, don’t you think?

I must dash now, my dear [Boy/Girl]. There is lots of work to do, but first, I think I’ll see if Mrs Claus happens to have some more hot chocolate for the elves and me.
